wdk-certified mounting for commercial vehicle tyres
Live at the trade fair stands of Corghi and Hunter: at THE TIRE COLOGNE, "wdk-certified mounting for commercial vehicle tyres" were demonstrated in practice.
"wdk-certified mounting for UHP and run-flat tyres" has been the state of the art for (un-)mounting in the passenger and SUV segments for some years now. However, modern tyres have in the meantime also acquired a considerable market share in the commercial vehicle segment.
These include, among others:
- Low profile tyres up to series 45
- Tyre widths up to 495 mm
- 17.5-inch low loader tyres in combination with hump rims
These tyre options have long since stopped being exotic, but are instead increasingly part of the everyday routine in professional commercial vehicle tyre service. Also: since July 2024, all newly registered commercial vehicles of the classes M2 and M3, N1 to N3 as well as O3 and O4 must be equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and the corresponding sensor technology.
"wdk-certified mounting for commercial vehicle tyres" was developed to ensure an adapted and safe (un-)mounting process for these requirements. The focus is initially on stationary or mobile tyre mounting with rotary disk/finger machines, as used in many tyre specialised trade businesses.
