The Circular Economy Area at THE TIRE COLOGNE showed how sustainable and resource-conserving processes can be implemented along the entire value creation chain of the tyre industry. The focus was on solutions that use materials more efficiently, close cycles and extend the life span of products.

The theme world reflected all central phases of the circular economy – from production of raw materials through tyre production to tyre remoulding and recycling. In clearly structured sections, trade visitors acquired an overview of current developments, technologies and approaches with practical relevance.

As part of the further-developed INNOVATION LAB, THE TIRE COLOGNE shifted the focus to the Circular Economy and made sustainable materials, production processes and circular value creation systems holistically experienceable.

THE TIRE COLOGNE closed the entire circle with the "Material & Production" segment expansion. Here it showed for the first time how sustainable raw materials, new material technologies and resource-conserving production processes contribute to the continuing development of sustainable tyre production.
