Tyres Europe, the voice of the European tyre industry, provided a high-level perspective on political and regulatory developments within the European Union (EU) at THE TIRE COLOGNE, thereby helping executives and technical experts to navigate the new regulatory landscape that will shape the design, manufacture and disposal of tyres in the coming years.

In his keynote speech, Tyres Europe’s Secretary General, Dr Adam McCarthy, outlined how regulatory factors can lead to opportunities for innovation and highlighted the pressing need for transparency regarding the tyre lifecycle. He also moderated a discussion in which representatives from institutions, industry, the value chain and the technical sector discussed practical ways of bridging the gap between policy and innovation.
